Dangerous love today often looks exciting before it looks harmful. A lot of young people are taught to mistake intensity for connection — nonstop texting, jealousy, obsession, emotional highs and lows, or someone wanting constant access to your attention can feel romantic at first. Social media, music, and online culture sometimes glamorize toxic behavior as “passion,” when it can actually be control, insecurity, or emotional instability.
